The Week-end

It was so good to have Mel visit me this week-end. We got caught up on all our chats and spending time together! I miss her now!
She came with us to our choir performance yesterday. It was a fun church, very informal. Alot of us were glad that we went there to sing!
This week is going to be an interesting week. I have much work to do, and so little time to do it.

I hope everyone has a great day-I'm heading out to get some lunch-
Love, Ash

Hi Ash.
I just checked in to see how the weekend went with you and Mel and it sounds like it was wonderful for both of you.
It sounds like your choir engagement was very enjoyable as well.
We too had a good evening last night as your mom came with Vanessa and Karl to stay overnight here.
We all had the opportunity to go and have a visit at Uncle John’s and we got to see Vikki and Ryan.
He has really grown and is very cute.
We all enjoyed seeing him.
Hope that this week goes well for you and that you get everything accomplished in the time that you have available.
Lots of love Nan xoxox
Happy first day of Spring tomorrow!

Hi Ashleigh: It has been quite some time since I have written & took me a while to catch up on your blogs. One that especially touched me was your 100th posting and the importance of keeping a journal. I will take this to my sorority group - food for thought & a great project for them. Gotta give the ladies something to do! We were away for 5 weeks - our first time to travel for more than a week at a time. Went to Florida to my brother's in Port Charlotte but we were both ill. I had to go to emergency twice & Bruce once. In fact, we had a week of timeshare in Orlando at Disney & daughter Karen & 2 youngest kids came down & I never got out of the condo! Only to Emerg. Chronic bronchitis, etc. We are OK now but it was a bad vacation - glad to get home. Took our cat, Sasha, an 18 yr old siamese with us - thought we might have a problem with her but she was the only healthy one. We were glad to get home & into our own little bed. Take care & keep writing those wonderful poems. hugs, Kathy
